#day16fruitfeast

Folks I am at the halfway point.  I've been craving a cooked treat.  My biggest challenges have been when at family outings and not sampling certain non meat dishes I usually partake in on occasion.

I'll tell you, the coolest thing has been having friends join me for a day to show support.  I need it.  It gives us an opportunity to reach out to each other and share the day's activities, eat some fruit and encourage others to add more fruit to their lifestyle.

Yesterday and today were good days to stop in to a few stores and find fruit on sale.  Did I stock up.

Watermelon
Cantaloupe
Bananas
Mandarins
Raspberries
Blueberries
Pineapple
Blackberries


Halfway through the feast I have also continued my light weight workout twice a week.  The plan is to make it part of my lifestyle moving forward.

The online business is requiring me to be teachable, coachable and consistent with my marketing and follow up.  "In it to win it."

Nothing exciting. Just taking it one day at a time. I had strawberries, watermelon and bananas today. Got lucky with the melon it was sweet. I'll have to go get a couple more for the weekend. Light weights in the morning and more fruit.

Here's to a wonderful day. Enjoy what life has to offer. Eat more of your favorite fruits. Eat when you are hungry. Try to cut down on processed foods. Exercise(keep moving). 

Todays breafast was around 9:30am. A smoothie (grapes, blackberries, bananas and distilled water).

May Fruit Feast

The May Fruit Feast is starting and tomorrow and my goal is to complete the 30 days.  The most I've completed is 18 days.  I will also start a lightweight and jump rope routine.

Breakfast and Lunch

Started the day with sweet cantaloupe 


(hard to find) and later had one of my favs growing up. Vegan bread, bananas and AZ honey.


Headed out to run some errands and sipped on some coconut water.

Curry potatoes.....

Curry potatoes, onions, carrots, smoked tofu, sea salt and black pepper. On the side today are mandarins which 7-10 usually are the meal. Overcast and kool this morning in the desert.

My Breakfast Crescant

Yep! At .88/lb why not. I'm always looking through the fruit section for the catch my eye deal and I get the limit(a few days a week if need be). Depending on the fruit and what I plan to do with it some will be frozen. 

So today it's sunshine and grapes to start the day!

Just Get Up And Move

That's what I'm trying to get back to. So today I jumped up, had a sip of water and hit the road solo. Very nice relaxing ride. 


Had thought about picking up a combo meal, Not!  This combo was less than $3.

 
Down goes the bag. A couple were not as sweet as the ones on my tree so I braved a few bees to get a couple of those sweeties. Well worth it. 


Folks try to eat better, keep moving and strive for peace.

Happy New Year!

Ok I'm a day late. I was going to start the year off with a ride on the 1st. That didn't happen. Today I looked outside, checked the weather report, downed 2lbs of grapes and hit the road for an hour. Man do I fell good. 


Health and fitness are a prioriy continuing into 2017. Ride the bike, 75% raw(mostly fruit), some weight training and jogging remain on the list.
