Blueberry Shake or Ice Cream!

I was tempted to have some ice cream. Then this happened.

Frozen blueberries and banana with a little almond milk. Depending on how much milk you use you will have a shake or ice cream.  Either way you'll be hooked. Enjoy.

Cookies for breakfast?

Yep!  I made the healthy version a couple of days ago. I was thinking about what to have this morning and came up with this. Oatmeal raisin cookies and a smoothie! Smoothie has fresh cranberry, blueberry, pineapple, banana, 1 cup of orange juice and 1 cup of ice. Have a wonderful day!

Guiltless Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Saw this was posted and I was like....give it a try. I love oatmeal raisin cookies. Now after making these, the store/restaurant versions must have 90% sugar per cookie. I will now make my own with various versions to this recipe. It's a good place to start. By the way they are good. If you are use to the sugar it's going to take you a while to adjust to the natural taste. Enough said. I'm on my way back to the kitchen to have another one, maybe two....."Guiltless Cookies". Enjoy!

Salsa!!!!

Ok I was thinking a jar of salsa (store bought) or "made by me". I went with "made by me". Simple, all natural, no preservatives, no dditives, coloring, etc. Just plain-o goodness. Make some and enjoy!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I'm taking this plant based lifestyle to another level. Fell short the last few months of 2014 with cookies, chips, ice cream etc. This book and others that I will be sharing from time to time, I will be using to expand my meal choices. Some of them will be showing up at various social outings with family and friends.
Get yours at http://astore.amazon.com/a0edc-20/detail/1607745313? The Book arrived yesterday and the first thing I realized is that I wanted to make a few containers of spices. Can you say mortar and pestle time. Found this one at a local asian market call Lee Lee's.
After the spices were made it was time to select the first recipe. I went with the "Fresh Corn Grits with Swiss Chard and Roasted Cherry Tomatoes" and was it good. This picture does it justice.
Please join me and share your plant based recipes and lifestyle.
