Saw this on the Vegan Channel last night and the rest is history. I did save a serving for tomorrow. Shredded carrots, beets and apple, raisins, cranberries, sunflower seeds, basil, olive oil, lemon juice and lemon zest. We're talking fresh and tasty. Great side or main dish. Enjoy. Peace

Coconuts Everywhere!
Sort of. I've come across coconuts from .75 to $4. Some I kept to long. Lesson learned. Now I buy one or two and put one(juice and meat) into a smoothie and the rest is history. I was sharing a smoothie recipe at 24 Carrots and the staff related they would have to give it a try. Spruce up you smoothie! How do spruce yours up?

Battling Lays....
I've been battling Lays lately. You know, veggie sandwich with Lays on the side. The solution? I bought a bag of organic carrots and as one raw foodist suggest, all you need is a knife and a cutting board. So for today the carrots won and I feel good knowing nutritionally the carrot will always win. What junk foods are you trying to kick to the curb?

Beet-burger, Coleslaw and Fruit Smoothie
One of those nights when you had a good day and a good workout. I did a variation of the beet burger I posted earlier. The coleslaw was pumped up with some seeds, dried raisins and cherries with balsamic dressing. Capped off with a mango, strawberry, blue berry and fresh squeezed orange juice smoothie. #BodySatisfied
